The Allegheny SAF has a membership of 1,100 professional foresters in the five states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Since 1900, the Society of American Foresters has provided access to information and networking opportunities to prepare members for the challenges and the changes that face natural resource professionals.
The Society of American Foresters, Plateau Chapter will hold its Winter meeting on Thursday, March 16th at the Days Inn (formally Holiday Inn) in Warren, 210 Ludlow Street, Warren, PA. This year’s main program will feature a presentation by Amanda Frederick, Resource Conservationist from the Warren County Conservation District.
Reservations are due by Monday, March 13.
The Society of American Foresters — Plateau Chapter will hold a summer meeting on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Pittsfield, PA. The Chapter will meet at 12:30pm at the USFS Forestry Sciences Lab, National Forge Road, Irvine, PA for an afternoon field tour.
